After losing to Bambi, Ronno and Karus become mates and the leaders of a herd, making them the first herd with be ruled be two Princes. which makes them alot of enemies because most animals believe only a female should be by the side of a ruling male, not another male. To make matters worse, HE is back in the woods and is hunting unexpecting animals. But through all the chaos, Ronno and Karus find a young stag no older than Ronno was when he was first wounded by HE, they adopt him as my own and now he must learn from fathers the real meaning of life and why every animal has it's own place in the world. But at the same time someone wicked is using the chaos to gain power for herself.
