Ikuseghan for Rinjapine

Ikuseghan - Thuma's lesbian betrothed. Since she is supposed to come from a foreign pride, I decided to experiment with her looks. Rinja, if this is too crazy for your standards, I'll change it.

Story (which also can be changed):

Ikuseghan was born in a place called The Hidden Valley. It was a small, green paradise, surrounded by bare mountains and steep rocks. The lionesses who lived there spent their days sleeping, chasing butterflies, singing and having fun. Their life, although a little boring at times, was generally pleasant.

Every now and then a maned god would appear. No pride sister knew where they came from, as their homelands was surrounded by mountains and steep rocks. Yet, the maned god always seemed to be able to find the way in and out. They always brought food for the pride sisters and told them stories from the outside world. They knew that their homeland was a small paradise in the middle of a dangerous see. Out there waited all sorts of dangers - white apes, lion-eating hyenas, poisonous snakes, and all sorts of disasters. The maned gods fought day and night to protect the valley and provide food for the pride sisters, for which they were extremely grateful. They admired the maned gods and were happy to have them at their side.

Every now and then a maned god would engage into games with the pride sisters. Some time later cubs would be born. Once the cubs were weened the maned gods would select some of them and take them with. Those cubs were destined to become maned gods and had to undergo a proper training with the grown-up gods. Each pride sister hoped that her cubs would be the lucky ones to be chosen. It was the greatest honor and a source of pride.

When Ikuseghan was a young cub, one of the maned gods came to take her with him. She was as happy as possible - she was the chosen one, she would grow a mane and join the maned gods! How awesome would it be!

The maned god picked her up and they settled for a journey. He carried her through a labirynth of caves, for what seemed like eternity. How he knew how to find the way, she had no idea. It was dark and all the caves looked exact the same. But finally, they came to the sunlight and saw an endless space. Ikuseghan had never seen a horizon before. It was breathtaking.

The maned god carried her across the bare grasslands, across the savanna. She hardly ever closed her eyes, amazed with everything around. The world was so big, so wonderful. She couldn't have enough of it.

Finally, they confronted another maned god, who was surrounded by a group of pride sisters. The maned god who carried Ikuseghan put her down and said "This is my daughter, the one I promised to your son. Please treat her well". and he other maned god replied "I can assure you, she will be loved and treated with respect she deserves".

And then the maned god who brought Ikuseghan was gone. She was left with this new pride, confused and lost.

The new pride was weird. The pride sisters were responsible for hunting and brought food to the maned god, not the other way round. Moreover, they expected Ikuseghan to work with them. Young as she was, she was able to follow them and learn, but she had so many questions. If they all worked so hard, how come they didn't have manes?

With time, Ikuseghan learned the truth - the maned gods were not gods. The males of her pride simply manipulated the females into believing they were too weak to survive on their own. Her father, who proundly called himself king, was a cunning bastard. Worst of all, he sold her to this foreign pride as a betrothed to the crown prince. Ikuseghan was diagusted. She grew to loathe those she used to admire so much. She, who once wished to become a male, became sick at the thought of ever being touched by one. So she was rude, nasty and insulted her betrothed Thuma in any way she could. She hated him for being a male, for being her betrothed. She dreamt of freedom, of being able to make her own choices, of a partner who was equal to her in everything.

To her utter horror, she realized she was romantically interested in females.

It was against the laws of nature, she knew. Males mated with females, but she never heard of two females mating to each other. It was sick. Unacceptable. But it was exactly what her body and soul were longing for.

Ikuseghan thought she would be able to resist her desire. And she was, untill she fell in love with a certain lioness. Mtakuja was the one. The one who made her breath faster and forget what her own name was. It was only a matter of time before the feelings she kept hidden so deep within took the better of her. Something this right could never be wrong. If the world will curse her, then so be it. But she would never forgive herself if she didn't try.
