A funny story to brighten your day
Back in September, I booked tickets to a musical I wanted to see with my parents. At that point, I had no way of knowing my mother would not be fit to attend the show on that day (minor cosmetic procedure had complications, which prolonged her recovery - she is uncomfortable, but her life is not in danger). Sadly, the tickets were non-refundable. However, two days before our planned outing, we received the news that the show had been canceled due to an actress's illness. We were all so relieved ("I'm sorry for being happy" - my mom ^_^). I would have felt guilty about dragging her out in her state and she would have felt guilty about missing the outing I had planned months ago. So, Upper Power solved our problem :-). As an added plus, my aunt, who was supposed to babysit my son, did not have to drive in the horrible weather ^_^. The icing on the cake? Asking for charity for someone I know
I have come here to ask for charity. To alleviate, even by the tiniest bit, the burden my aunt and uncle carry at all times. Their daughter is severely disabled. For the last 28 years they have been sacrificing everything for her and will continue to do so as long as she lives. She will not get better. But these two amazing people deserve to sleep peacefully, knowing they did right by her. If you can help them, or spread the word, or even say a prayer, I will be immensely grateful. Hi all. Admittedly, I've been radio silent for most of December due to a combination of issues. Some health-related, some family-related, some logistics-related. Also, to be frank, I became temporarily addicted to a mobile game and it consumed most of my spare time. The thrill however died out by now and I'm hoping to catch up with my friends soon. On the positive side, I now have a proper work station set up in the guest bedroom, which is separate from mine and my son's bedroom, which was something I really wanted :-) I may also add that I've made a resolution to read more Polish authors and to improve communication in my family (after years of writing solely in English I lost the ability to write in my Native language. I'm hoping to regain it). Let's all hope for a peaceful, productive and positive year 2024 ^_^

Hi u all. I've no mental energy for productivity or social interactions. My ine year old being one year old and that's good xause he is not neurodivergent like me. Hoping for a good year, since life is vetter organized . To participants of The Project - sorry for radio silence. I imagine you all preoccupied with Christmas and equivalents.
