To begin with - this journal is not directed at my fans, it's merely a general observation I made.
I have just visited a profile page of an artist I know. He posted a journal in which he apologized to his fans for not being able to do requests and art trades, because he was busy in real life. I've seen quite a few people on DA post similar journals, in moods raging from apologetic to furious, so it no longer surprises me. The point is - this particular artist has already posted a similar journal a couple of months ago. Apparently, one journal is not enough. That, or people are analphabets.
For this reasons, I have a big request to everybody - learn to read. Before you ask somebody for a request take your time to do your research. Most artists have stamps saying "I don't do requests", or journals stating that. Some have folders in their galeries destined for "Art for others". Some even have FAQs in which you'll find all the information you need. Trust me, having to answer an obvious question is utterly annoying. Especially if a dozen of fans asks you exact the same question after you already answered it multiple times. Respect the artists and don't ask them for a request if they had somehow made it clear they won't do them. Thank you very much.
Takich co zamęczają tymi prośbami, to najlepiej:
a) dać im cennik comissionów (lekko podniesiony, np. 50% ekstra za zawracanie głowy).
b) zablokować.
